Raise No Chicken

Some cool work from Kirk on his website Raise No Chicken. Total color and texture feast. His writing is pretty good, too, like these thoughts that lead into his logo collection:

"It makes sense that all designers must end up with piles and piles of logos, stacked on top of another, laying around the moldy basements of their portfolio. They collect, like dust, in the corners and are a reminder of how long we’ve been at this game. Like rings on a tree, most designers can be appropriately dated by the number of these aging artifacts that lie beneath their floorboards. I myself have a healthy graveyard of work in the making, but amongst the bones and remains of half-hearted concepts and misplaced cleverness I managed to pull this small collection of survivors."

True words. I have some early logos that will forever remain locked away.
