25 Days of Freebies and Giveaways: Day Nine, 2011 Benign Objects Calenday Giveaway

Friends, do you know that I have never given away something on my own blog before? I think I have been sort of shy about it and also nervous that people wouldn't respond. I am going to throw off that cloak of shyness today and give away a 2011 Benign Objects calendar.

If you'd like a vibrant 2011 calendar from me, simply leave a comment about one thing you're looking forward to in 2011. You have until midnight Friday/Saturday. A winner will be chosen at random and announced Monday.

I love this calendar because of its bold colors and nostalgic appeal of classic wood type and letterpress. It's giclĂ©e printed with bright, saturated colors on heavy white, textured paper (it has some tooth to it like watercolor paper). The top of each month has a hole for hanging or use the included mini-clothespin to hang it in other ways. I love mini clothespins—don't ask me why—so I leapt at the chance to include them.

Calendar measures approximately 4 x 6" and comes in a protective cello sleeve with the mini (appx 2") clothes-pin.

  2. I am looking forward to a year with less chaos! I got married, moved, started a new job, and got a scary medical diagnosis all in a few months. I am looking forward to having more time for reading, more time for crafts, and more time to enjoy what I have.

  15. I'm looking forward to lots of exciting, yet nerve wracking changes! Moving to a new country, moving in with my boyfriend, and being determined to focus on what makes me happy! At times it seems daunting, but that's why I would need a calendar to keep things straight! ;-P

  16. i am looking forward to a clean fresh start. my house is currently rebuilt after a fire on june 24th. it made me really think about what is important and what isn't. when you have to make an inventory of everything you owned you realize you owned a lot of stuff and it did not make you happy. it is also another year in which my son has the chance of forgiveness so that he would let me see my grandchildren. there is always something to look forward too.
